We are currently recruiting for all positions in our teams; looking to bring in players that will strengthen all our squads:
- 1 st Team
- 2nd Team
- Phoenix 5′s
- Friendly Squad
- Inception Group
Training
- 11 aside league teams train every Wednesday (7pm – 9pm) with matches happening on Sundays. Within pre season when there are no matches on Sundays a weekend training session will be held instead.
- 5 aside league teams train every Saturday (10am – 1pm) with matches happening during one evening weekday (depending on the league entered). When there are no matches a training session will be held instead.
- Friendly squad plays its matches on a Saturday which are held once a month. Training happens every Saturday (10am – 1pm)
- Inception Group trains every Saturday (10am – 1pm)
The commitment
Phoenix league teams have an emphasis on progressing the development of its players individually and as a team. In order to do this attendance in training is essential. Within our league teams; every player is required to attend at least 50% of training, and be available for match days.
Membership
Each player who joins AFC Phoenix joins a membership scheme to the club in which monthly fees are paid on a 12 month period.
Code of Conduct
We operate on a ‘One Club’ policy; AFC Phoenix is about football only, we win and lose as a team but no matter the score this is a team environment. We do not tolerate bullying and negative attitudes from any player either on the pitch or off it, and is dealt with accordingly. We do not permit politics in the club and leave it where it belongs, in parliament. We are about women’s football.
