Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : I started in 2005 to concentrate on my football career at senior level with a local team called ‘AFC Avenue’ Due to better prospects I signed for ‘Hardwicke AFC’ (Step 5) in 2008 as well as playing for ‘Hempsted AFC’ on Sundays from 2006- present. After leaving ‘Hardwicke AFC’ I was offered a college scholarship through ‘soccericon.com’ with ‘Herkimer County Community College’ (NJCAA Rank 1) allowing me to earn extra international skills and experience. When I arrived back from the U.S I signed for Hungerford Town FC (Step 4) but only appeared in the reserves (Step 6) and made captain. I left them due to lack of first team opportunities and this summer signed for Carterton FC (Step 6) in the Hellenic league division one west.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Exposed to and trained in all positions of competitive play; currently specializing in defensive responsibilities, (i.e., defender and sweeper) requiring delaying, channelization, acting as 1st and 2nd defender, tackling, counterattacking, and support of ranging the goalkeeper. I am skilled in defensive techniques, including delaying, heading, slide tackling and shielding. I am skilled with both my right and left foot. I also demonstrate high intensity, high concentration, excellent timing and anticipation, positioning and reading the game. I have very great knowledge in the rules of the game, team and individual strategy. I too have a high pain threshold. Finally, I have very strong leadership skills on and off the field; I take charge mentally and have a loud game voice.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Football plays a huge part in my life and is my main passion. I was offered a college scholarship through ‘soccericon.com’ with Herkimer county community college in New York allowing me to earn international skills and experience. I have very strong leadership skills on and off the field and am always eager to learn new things and always up for new challenges. I would love to be given an opportunity to trial for a professional or semi professional team because even if nothing come from it i would still appreciate the feedback and would work on what i could improve on and come back even stronger.
