Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started to play football when I was about 5 years old. I carried on playing until I was 7-8 years old then stopped for a while as I only live with my mum and she isn't a football person. Then when I was about 12 I started football again and started playing for old Grammerians as a centre back. After a year for playing for them the team folded as it had money issues so I had to find a new club which I enjoyed and got along with. Then when I was 13 I found a team which was local called Wellingborough town FC. I played cb for one season but my mum always said I should play upfront (when she watched a few of my games). Then half way through my second season I played upfront. In my first game I managed to score 4 goals and in the rest of the session I scored 23 goals in about 12-15 matches.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am very fit and healthy and I can keep my stamina up for a whole 90 minute match. In every game and training session I will try 110% each time and encourage others too. If I loose the ball I don't just give up I try and win it back and get us back on the attack. I am a good team player and I will always respect the referees decisions. If we are ever losing in a match at half time I usually try to encourage everyone to pick there heads up and try and pull back a win. When it comes to finishing I usually score either one on one with the keeper, long shots or nice simple place round the keeper. I am also good at corners and setting my team mates up with a goal.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think an academy director should pick me as I'm not afraid for a challenge. If I do get picked I will promise I will always try 100% and always turn up on time. Also as I said I have only played upfront half a session and scored 23 goals in 12-15 games and I am progressing. Using the training and the coaching I think you could help improve me to be a brilliant striker. I hope you do choose me as I am a very loyal and respectful player. Thankyou.
