Sporting Wessex are looking for ladies (16+) to create a new monthly team

Sporting Wessex Ladies are looking for players to create a new team to enter the new Southampton Saturday Football League, Ladies Monthly Division (11 a-side). Games will played at any day/time during the month and teams will play 1 game a month. The games may be played midweek or on a Saturday. It is likely that the league will have 5 or 6 teams taking part this season. The Club are looking to build this new team on the success of their men’s team after 11 years in the Southampton Football League. The ladies’ team will be based in Southampton and will be training on Tuesday nights 6.30-8.00 at Millbrook Rec (next to Goals Soccer Centre, SO15 0JZ) from 30th July onwards. Standard or experience isn’t that important, much more is your willingness to learn, improve and enjoy playing in a well-run team.
