Background / Aims
The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation & Barnet
and Southgate College Education and Football
Development Centre links football theory, Academy
standard coaching and affiliated league and cup
competitions with a range of academic studies
for up to 50 learners aged between 16 and 19 years
Learners of varying abilities and from a wide
variety of ethnic and social backgrounds can enroll
on full-time BTEC level 2 or 3 and NVQ level 2 and
3 courses with the potential to continue onto a
foundation degree in Sports Development and Coaching.

How can children be involved?
Learners will be recruited through various local youth
and community projects, via formal referrals, and
via Barnet and Southgate College's prospectus yearly
All completed application forms and additional
supporting paperwork (references and personal
statements etc) must be sent to Barnet and Southgate
College, High St, London, N14 6B
Successful applicants will be invited for a three
day football trial, class based assessment, and
an interview with the college which takes place in June
Applicants that are successfully selected as a
result of the football trial, class based assessment
and college interview will be placed on a
course that reflects their qualifications
