Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I began playing football age 6 at Abbeymead rovers under 7s and I stayed with this club until the under 15s when the club folded at this point I haven't developed much physically and was struggling with the physical side of the game. At age 15 I started training with a local men's team (AFC phoenix) and I began to grow stronger and my footballing ability came a long way. I played my first game for them the day after my 16 birthday and played 90minuites I am now 17 and I now play in the first team at Centre Midfield we play in Stroud 2, we started in Stroud 8 and have been promoted every season.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have a very good range of passing and good link up play I am also in very good physical condition although my best ability would probably be my passing ability. Overall I would describe myself as a young hungry lad who is eager to succeed but what sets we apart from the other 40,000 young lads is I am a good listener and will take on bored the information given to me and I will always be first on the training ground and last off it.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I would love the chance to show a Academy Director what I can do on the football pitch, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to show my skill in front of professionals. I believe I deserve to get this opportunity because I have been playing football for as long as I can remember and I have always felt that I could perform at a much higher standard than I am currently playing at, people who have seen me play have been telling me to go for a trail for a while now but it wasn't something I ever really gave much thought however before I get a job and get tied into a typical 9-5 job I would love a opportunity to show a trained person what I can do and just see if I am capable of playing at that standard.
